Hi!
I recently installed GTX 1060 6gb due to my HD 7870's early demise. But now I have problem with forests.
The lowest driver settings which gets rid of distant rivers shimmering are MSAAx4 + SSAAx4 or 8xSQ [Combined: 2x2 SS + 2x MS].
But with those settings I have a serious slowdown over the forests, while everything else (even vid-heavy effects) runs smoothly. 7870 used to provide perfect picture and smooth fps at 4xsupersamplin setting, so 1060 shold be at least no worse, right?
I didn't change anything in conf.ini (how do I attach it here?) except water=2 to water=4 (otherwise water was slot too).
Please advise.

I don't know if this is related, but there are specific NVidia lines in the conf.ini, and they should be activated ...

 OpenGL settings:

......

TexFlags.TexEnvCombine4NV=1  <== should be set to 1 (NV stands for NVidia)
TexFlags.TexEnvCombineDot3=1
TexFlags.DepthClampNV=1  <== should be set to 1
TexFlags.SeparateSpecular=1
TexFlags.TextureShaderNV=1  <== should be set to 1

TexFlags.TexEnvCombine4NV was set to "0", but switching it to "1" changed nothing...
