Ok I don't want to be a pain in the butt, BUT. My previous post was February 3rd, since then I dumped all my previous BAT downloads and downloaded them all again. This evening, Thursday I finally got them all. I deleted my IL2 1946 game and reinstalled a fresh one. I downloaded and installed the 12.2 Megapatch, ran the game and saw that it had patched ok. Downloaded all 29 BAT files as Torrent and installed them. The install log says that all 29 parts installed successfully. Downloaded and installed all 6 Expansion Packs. Ensured my Landscape detail was set to Perfect, tried both sets of Dlls and yet maddeningly I've still got the same problem. dpeters95 has shown that he doesn't have this problem so I'm beginning to think there must be something wrong with my computer graphics.

Its fine for me too, any angle any zoom, just perfect.  It may be something in your conf.in is not set right, also, you said you tried both sets of BATDLL's -In my experience only one of the sets will work for any one user, which is it and do they definately work, ie pass the Hind-E test?

Hello SAS~Monty27. Thanks for your input. I've tried the original conf.ini that came with the Bat download also one I was using in CUP. Problem still there with both of them. I use BATDLLS-01 ( passed Hind-E test ), BATDLLS-02 does not work with my setup although I did try it.

benson, very sorry to hear you are still having the same problem.  Coincidentally, I was going to post here yesterday to ask how it was going.  I also use the original BATDLLS that is defaulted in BAT.  If you want to try, here is a copy of the "conf.ini" that Simon uses:

Make sure it is marked "read only" before you run the game.  If that doesn't do it, maybe a graphics card setting?  What card do you use?  If you have an Nvidia GTX 760 or similar, we can compare settings...

I agree Dennis, it has to be an NVIDIA setting, these are also crucial.  The wierd thing is though Benson is no beginner, he must have set up NVIDIA for Il2 before.  Nevertheless, thats where I would be looking now, especially to make sure Il2 has its own separate section and that NVIDIA applies 'over-ride' in all the right places...

Thank you both for your replies. I will try the conf.ini as you suggest. A possible solution. I have only very recently swapped to an Nvidia card having always used AMD so no, I haven't done anything for setting up Il2 with Nvidia. I'll look into it straight away.

OK!!!!!!! Problem solved. The conf.ini you suggested did the trick. I'm going to print a copy of my old one and burn the b*****d for all the trouble it's given me.
I have recently bought an Nvidia GeForceGTX 750 Ti so I'm off to read up on setting up Nvidia in Il2. Thanks for all your support.
