Tried both of the BATDLLS made no difference to the Hind colour.(still pink)
I have adjusted all the values in config.ini.
Should I carry on and install the addons, or find a solution to this colour problem first.
Absolute amazing achievement. Had this game from the first cd. What a change!

first of all - the Log File! if your game crashes, pls provide a log file! read about how to get it and which parts from it we need and how to post those;
the reason is simple - going to the doctor and saying "I feel unwell" is nice, but does not get you anywhere nearer towards a good diagnosis.
so give us at least a fighting chance to help...

Hi. Just a notis!
If you extract /unzip the dll.file to Your main Il2 1946 folder?
Check out it did not creat a BATDLL folder with your selected dll.file inside.
If so the dll.file inside the BATDLL folder will have no effect.
The dll.file must be placed in your main Il2 1946 folde,r were also
Your config.ini file are to be found.

Yes it did put the folder in my main IL2 1946 folder. So where is it extracted to? within the game folder.

Well. If you now have a "BATDLL"  folder in Your main install, then ther should be a set of dll.files in it, the files of the Version you selected BATDLL-01 or 02.
Copy the dll.file in BATDLL folder and paste in to your rot "Il-2 Sturmovik 1946" folder, overerwright if promted. Run the sim.
Another way is to extract the BATDLL-01 or 02 to Your own created folder outside the sim rot folder. Copy the dll.files there and paste to sim rot folder.
I had simular problem self some times ago. I,m using the Batdll.02 Version and have no problem any more.

Thanks Odin, gotcha, worked a treat, easy when you how. Us old geezers are slow on the uptake. My old Nvidia Gforce GTX 960 makes it all look amazing.
