Hello there,

I hereby requesting a sound mod if possible. In IL-2 there are triggers such as when the game menu appears, takeoff and landing action and others that enables a soundtrack. So, would be possible creating a trigger to start a soundtrack when nearby enemies and other for nearby friendly forces?

Before you anwser, some words why i am requesting this mod.

IMHO, listening music enhances gameplay and in this request a soundtrack can give the chance of emphasizing regarding the moment in game when being attacked or being between allies. As example, War Thunder have this feature that starts randomly (immediately or later on)when the situations i mention happen.

Anyway  I would like also to read so opinions regarding this feature, if it could be something good or bad for the game itself and also if it is "code possible" to add.

I have a few CDs (which I already posted here many years ago) with some music
which I like to listen to when flying in this game. Its a mixture of film soundtracks and other
well known songs.
Unfortunatelly these CD things cannot be posted for too long... Music is now illegal
to download  (says President Trump !)   

But what you are requesting for the IL2-1946 iis something that I remember Marcost doing a mod for.
Look around and search for "Marcost incidental music mod".

It is still in "WIP", so you can add or change more things to it and upgrade it
if you wish.
