Hi all:

Not sure this is the place but here goes:

There seems a problem with the interior of the F4U-1 Corsair and the British Corsair 1. Here's two screenshots comparing the F4U-1 and the F4U-1A:

F4U-1:

Note that it looks like there has been a piece taken out of the instrument panel and the stall warning light has slipped forward under the sight base. It also looks like the sight has been shimmed with a piece of cardboard. I realize there are different sights on the two planes but the base just doesn't look quite right to me.

As a sort of bad advert, you could test what I did on the Corsair pits.. but I doubt it changes what you mean.

Can be tuned as for options, as for the sight, TBH no idea. Maybe it helps, sorry if not. I did a little research back then and indeed the later Corsairs have a rather big glass sight covering much of the front...yet that was not the focus of my mod and so I suppose the solution is somewhere else.
Personally, I am not a gunsight expert at all. Except maybe for Mustangs by now a bit and ironically I stripped most sights off my Stang pits for my airshow racing offline flying hobby.

Thanks for your suggestion but, if you go your link and look at Reply #52 on page 5 and scroll down to the fifth picture you can actually see what I see as it's a picture from inside the F4U-1.

I'll keep trying things out from here but I don't really know what I'm looking for.
