Debating on installing BATEP07 now or wait for the update for fixes of some problems with the current install. Just got into BAT and there is a change already !! Don't know what to do. No problem waiting because i'm enjoying it as it was before this expansion anyway. WAW is my favorite part . Regards,Scott

Since i got no replies i'm going to take the plunge and install it. There are only a few things that need fixing , not enough to worry about. I'm sure they will be fixed soon. Really impressed with what's been done so far.Thanks to all involved with BAT. It's what has made this the best combat  flight sim ,all-around, there is. Can't wait to try out the new carrier takeoffs and all the other goodies.Regards,Scott

Sorry Scott, but sometimes people are just too busy to answer questions which frankly no one can answer reliably.
In the end you will have to test it yourself.
And to be able to get back to BATEP06, just in case, you might want to make a backup of the things you've been asked to delete or overwrite.

Thank you Sir. Have the original updated BAT on a external SSD,(yes it's a big SSD).  Will wait a little while longer and read more about BAT before i progress. Still pretty new to all this with Il-2 '46. As i am a new convert from CFS3. Got into this as a break from the other sims i have. Am so glad i did.Playing catch-up now. This site has so much content it's hard to imagine the size and scope of it all. I just hope that BAT doesn't go the way of CUP , with a this and that update style, but orderly and easy not jumping though hoops to get it to run. Thankful to all those who made BAT possible and thank you Mike for being so helpful on this site .One of my favorite website.Wonderful and interesting people can be found here. Regards,Scott

I advise getting it done Scott.  There are SFS files with new 3D, the very important Engine_MOD update, a ton of stuff.  There are no real problems with BATEP07.  By now you know that BATEP08 addresses all sound issues and BATEP09 is literally around the corner with a huge Flightline upgrade you will not want to miss.

Will add BATEP07 and BATEP08 tonight. Can't wait to see what they have in store. Thanks for all the advice.Will read the new manual before i do anything. Now if i could just stop playing i'd have the time to install ! Have all pc installs and more on a external ssd as backups from stock to BAT. So i should be safe.
