New pre V4.0 open Beta ---- both Main pack and Java pack ---- is released in 1st post.


Changes and Fixes on 14th/Apr./2017 from 23rd/Mar./2017 :
- F/A-18C/D's wingtip AIM-9s become to follow folded wings.
- Both Jets' AI become to deploy countermeasures (Chaff and Flare).
- Even not completed, add or expand F/A-18's flaps and slats effects for flightmodels in real time. In the time of Outer ailerons drooped, its status reflects for aero dynamics.
- F/A-18C/D take-off becomes a bit easier. --- still WIP
- F/A-18s HDD in Fuel amount display mode shows correct internal tank fuels in lbs.
- F/A-18C and D shows each different fueltank size in Fuel amount display mode.
- Small display bugfix of F/A-18s HDD in Fuel amount display mode
- Cockpit 3D scale resize. Now it is in 1:1 real scale.

Sight: Radar Ranging, Funnel, etc have no effect on HUD now. Everything else wkg so far. Nice weps :)

Referring to dates released. No Sight: Radar Ranging, Funnel, etc. visual HUD change with vbeta4.0 either.

Does pre V4.0 open Beta 15/Apr/2017 have the problem ?

The previous US_Marine_Aviation_Pack package I installed last week gave me all sorts of problems and
it was missing "TypeLaserSpotter",  which made many airplane mods useless.
It was not even reading the pack "JetEra" which many airplanes need to use.

I will now install this new package.

As I wrote:
TypeLaserSpotter.class is a content of Engine MOD 2.7.3w (every package) and finishing to install it, that class will exist.

I have just downloaded your package for 4.0 and I am looking at the files.

I notice that the default skins and some of the Damage skins are still in the sizes 2048x2048.  :-| Why ?
This WILL cause problems for many people.

As we have already discovered many times in the past, the DEFAULT skins must be in the sizes 1024x1024
for everything in teh game to work properly.
If the player wishes to use the HD-2048x2048 size skins, then later in the skin selection menu,
they can select those HD skins and use them. ---> But the default skins must be in 1024x1024 for less problems
with the mod-airplane  ;)

I have now changed your skins from this 4.0 download to the correct size in my game....
.... Now I am going to start the game and
hope it will not explode  :D

OK, good news.
My game starts and in the airplane selection menu I see all jets and aircraft.
Its a good start, but I need to test each one to see if they have some bad reaction to this 4.0 pack.

As for this 4.0 pack, I still need more time to test it and to see if there is some problems.

I have no radar working in cockpit. Nothing happens on HUD or cockpit radar screen. It is "INOP".
I do seem to have turned it on, unless I forgot to turn something "on".
What am I doing wrong?

MISC_1 key , not changed from S3 version and his manual PDF.

I don't know what real key you've assigned for MISC_1.

New open Beta 16/May/2017 is available in 1st post.
Changed is only Java pack.

It's a drastic updates.
It needs both Engine MOD 2.7.4w and Weapon pack 2016-ii.

With combo of those updates, these bug fixes / new features are implemented.

- Push MISC_7 key after exiting Laser aiming cockpit, Laser is made OFF and unlock targeting.
- After 180 seconds passed from exiting Laser aiming cockpit, Laser is made OFF automatically.
- PavewayII LGBs do ballistic free-fall when no Laser found.
- When PavewayII LGBs' seaker catch the ground Laser spot, that engaging status is shown on right text area.
- Laser guided missiles AGM-65E and AGM-123A can engage / disengage the Laser spot automatically like other missile, manual engaging is no more needed.
- JDAMs aim ground targets correctly.
- EOTV/CCD or IR-Imaging , Laser seakers work realistic like cannot lock-on the ground behind the clouds (all variants) , under too low light in the night (EOTV/CCD limitation).

and other bug fix.
- Trigger bug of AGM-123A and Zuni combo.

THX guys! Like the mod, also the older variant! 8)
I know, its a WIP. After a fast test, only a little bug emerged for me(F/A-18)
If uses 2XAIM-9 plus 4 or more AIM-7 or AIM-120 missile. After shoots the two BVR missile under the fuselage, i got the message:
"AIM-7 or AIM-120 missiles are depleted". But of course, still have 2-4 such missiles under the wing. All missiles are usable, after all... Radar, radar modes, HUD modes working! Version 3.7.2 have no such problem for me. My game are 4.12.2m 5.3 modact, former TFM-412, upgraded as well.
Anybody else faced this?

Just a bit of a wondering though, the F/A-18s and A/V-8B weren't this buggy last time I check....? what happened?  ::(
