Currently working on an update of the F7F-3N Nightcat and will be able to use the new and improved ordnance from that project with the DH-103 Hornets (replacing some of the current Soviet stand-in weapons).


Also the NF-21 will be able to tow aerial targets.

Issue I suspect is due to the lack of wing collision boxes in the test beta. Hopefully this will be resolved when wing collision boxes are added in the final version.

Unfortunately I have been sidetracked by the F7F-3N Nighcat update and associated projects, like an air launched RP-54 target/recon/decoy jet powered drone with a ballistic parachute recovery system (if target or recon modes are selected). For mission makers, the RP-54 can be air launched from player or AI F7F-3N aircraft and made to parachute down in a specific area over sea or land by placing a drone recovery zone object on the mission map.

An update is in the pipeline but no timeline at this stage since with all the great IL2 releases of late, I seem to be playing more than modding.

Next update may even look at fuselage texture mapping tweaks, so we can have camo skins for the Hornets.
