How to determine current BAT MOD/Expansion loaded
« on: March 29, 2017, 10:16:33 AM »

It appears that I can download BAT Expansion 09.

What is the best way to confirm my latest Expansion Update?

Running the game I see BAT v2.0 on the load screen.

Thanks

Hello,
when you install a pack for BAT, you can edit the text in your "bat.version" file (in main directory) with notepad.
ex: "IL-2 1946 · Battlefield-Airborne-Tactical · v2.0 - Pack 09"  ;)

Thank you for your assistance, will begin that method.
In the the mean time, is matching the aircraft / paint schemes in file to the last expansion pack, a method to validate expansion pack number?

Hi everyone .

After installing BAT 11 my start up screen seems to have reverted back to V1 instead of V2 .

Any suggestions would be appreciated .

Thank you in advance .

That's an indicator that you have plonked something in there out of sequence.  The file BAT.version is updated into your Main Il2 Directory with B.A.T. Expansion Seven.

For an EASY reset my advice is:

Don't worry about any 'Special Instructions' this time around just drop these straight into your Main Il2 Directory in this order:

B.A.T. Expansion Seven
B.A.T. Expansion Eight
B.A.T. Expansion Nine

Then do the CHECKPOINT, ie, delete ONLY the Mod Folders:
#DOF2  - DELETE
#TGA2  - DELETE
#WAW2  - DELETE
#JTW2  - DELETE

Then replace them with the new ones from CHECKPOINT:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,54653.0.html

#DOF2  - ADD FRESH ONE
#TGA2  - ADD FRESH ONE
#WAW2  - ADD FRESH ONE
#JTW2  - ADD FRESH ONE

Now add:
B.A.T. Expansion Ten
B.A.T. Expansion Eleven
