Hello all aces and admins alike.

First of all hope all is well with everyone and that life is great here. Seeing IL2 yet again having a massive upgrade like this dwarfs the problems and limitations caused by the overwriting of files and causing confusions and frustrations being eliminated it gives me inscentive to get back into the best sim ever made. 

Secondly I apologize for not being around or posting screenshots. Work and other concerns have prohibited me from doing IL2 and the craze to play it left me unfortunately. But I feel I need to come back fully and explore the new BAT for what it is! With the introduction of upgraded graphics, statics and scenery (as well as aircraft), I feel I may need a little bit of a hand and a couple of links to get me started please. I may need the Adobe explanation link first to learn a bit more but if any have any personal points about this huge triumph for the modders and the players who made this sim what it is today.

I see my hangar has become dusty in recent months due to my break and has been really pushed back, I need to get back up to the top of the list again! Same with my video's. Seeing as well the well awaited He-100 FINALLY being completed it also makes me want to shoot a small tribute video for the type.

Wow Dark Apostle. Honoured to have you reply on my post. I agree it gives a breath of fresh air to IL2 as a whole, CUP still does it for me but it's the overwriting that did it for me in the patience department. However because of that I backed up a whole install so I wouldn't have to do it again!

VP modpack and BAT are my go to sims. Have many combat flight sims but VP and BAT are the best of the best. Mainly interested in WWII and VP has that covered well. BAT has that covered plus every era there is. Just beginning to explore BAT in all its' glory. Never could get CUP to work for me but BAT is super easy if manual is followed completely. Everything is provided for a easy install. If a dummy like me can get it to work it truly is simple to install!! Thanks Hangar 19 Team and the VP Team for all the hard work for our enjoyment. Thanks,i now have the bug.
