Clarification on the BATE11 install
« on: April 10, 2017, 09:30:24 AM »

I should already know this from earlier dowlnloads.

I have worked pretty hard getting through Expansion Pack Ten.

When you state:

"Disable all  JSGME MODS/OPTIONS (BATMODS)"
for B.A.T. EXPANSION PACK ELEVEN, download, do I disable [ - ], ALL  JSGME
MODS/OPTIONS (BATMODS), or just the content within say the #DOF2?

Example:

Should my BATE10 #DOF2 folder be modified to look like this "-#DOF2"?

Or do I go into "BAT10 DOF2", and "-Classes-Object and -STD folder", then download / drop the BATE11
into BATP11?

The files downloadd are very much smaller when compared to the files
downloaded from BATP10.

Ignorently yours

open JSGME - disable all mods in there, in other words all mods should be listed on the left of the screen, nothing on the right. The files within the expansion just drop into your existing folders, no need to rem (-) any folders

Thanks nyali, you are a good stick!

@Otto01 - Its ALWAYS best practice to disable ALL JSGME options before updating anything. The reason is that new options or Mod Folder content may be rolled back by active JSGME backups.  Because of the unified structure of B.A.T. each update nearly always adds something to every Mod Folder each time.  8)

the only use for a 'good stick' is to beat some common sense into someone lacking it, however in this case common sense prevailed and help / clarification was asked for....

Unfortunately I find myself time and time again browsing past posts where common sense has failed..... and i really want to use that 'good stick' lol  :P

Naaah.  To the long extinct part of me that began life as an Englishman it means stick and rudder, and good wingman, provides good cover.  I appreciate it!   ;D
