A new Ta-152C, this time Werk Num 587283.

This particular aircraft was developed to originally serve with JV44 but the order was cancelled after they favoured the firepower of the D-15, This aircraft instead was ordered for the reforming JG/26, except she was delayed and underwent modifications due to corroded components in the wings and fuselage.

The ''Big'' tail section was used from a Ta-152H-0 and the wings were seperate pieces of 2 Ta-152C's, Werk Nummers 587242 and 587230.

In which both aircraft would recieve new wing sections in August 1945 and enter service as X4 Missile test aircraft, alongside Black 2 of JGr/10 and Blue 5 of JG/301.

A Ta-152 with a short life...

She was made at Liepzig factory but was abandoned after a heavy bombing raid in September 1945. A Luftwaffe recovery team was sent in to salvage what they could find. The aircraft was found in the storage facility in the left warehouse and she was sent immediately by road to Munchen-Reim in late September, and crude markings were applied by hand. The aircraft only had a short service life with JG/26, when in October 1945 her main forward wing spar was severely corroded, and what parts that could be salvaged were used on other 152's, both H and C types.

The hulk was sadly scrapped in Mid October 1945.

I have 3 skins left to make for the Ta-152's Mike. They'll be released as a seperate pack, I was thinking of putting them in the ''Out of Paint'' pack, but I think the Ta-152's will be most welcomed.

I will do some 152's for the Out Of Paint pack. But 20 skins will be finished by the end of the week. I got carried away with the 152's it's why you haven't seen many D series 190's.

Still it's all in the waiting!

A nice surprise is coming soon, the Ta-152H template for skins has been finalised. The Hohenjager is ready for mass skin production.
