Hi Thinky, sorry for the belated reply, Ummhhh, I have no idea what you are talking about.
As all my work it is released under the DTFWYWWI License, means if you have a Hotfix, ideas, FM to share, feel free to join. I'm no FM expert by the way, have no clue.

Hi Peter, yes, no problem, I didn't found version of release candidate. I just had a copy of the DBW version.

For the regular I took Vampirepilots BAT cod and Java to reinstate. This sat on my struck HDD, no way to recover.
If anybody has happen to have original Backups of the release versions, please share, would be happy to add them

First Post Links slowly reinstated.
if it fails to load, RTFM and match all Requirements, Loadoutoptions are checked.

Will check out Vasyas FM and upgrade all RAF Loadouts to DreamKs newer versions in a small Hot Fix.

Not perfect, of course.
Made a correction after reading the comments of knowledgeable whirpils on the BzS forum.
Also used NAСA profile charts 22-12/14.
I took the landing part of the polar from patch 4.10 as more adequate in comparison with fixes from later patches.
I will say this: in the main parameters, this entire polar will be very close to the polar from patch 4.09-4.10.
If somewhere there is a chart of the polar for Kittyhawk, then it is not difficult to translate it into digital form for our game.
Without the original P-40 purge schedule, one can only paint a picture of Van Gogh.
Such thoughts.

I am more making reference to this specific mod and just sharing my appreciation that I feel it's probably the best P-40N-5 representation out there so far.

I don't know if you're still doing some of the airframe limit FM modeling or the engine modeling, but I have some archival scans that may provide some help to the FM for this aircraft.

Use this link, it should take you to a few pictures I took of the more relevant scans. I couldn't find all my old images so I'll be looking for them tomorrow and try to let you know what I find. Besides engine and airframe specifications, I take it you're still trying to look for aerodynamic information about the wings, right? Let me know what you need and I may be able to find a work-around.

FM Fix by Vasya added to first Post, Thanks for your Help Mate

Install best with a cod version, don't have nerves atm. for a Fix of the outdated DBW version.
Thanks a lot

Hi Thinky,

No, I'm no scientist, content is released under DTFWYWWI license, if you feel like you have some Idea,
Fixes,.... post them.
You see Vasya posted a FM some time ago, at that time I had struggles doing these FM, had no experience.
Now a few Years later, I got back to it, to include and Vasya again had an Idea.
that's how we work, whoever has sth. that helps, will find his way into it, sooner or later.

Best wishes

Understood, I'm trying to learn FM modeling and modding in general, but I am very much a novice in doing so. So in the interim until I can provide my own FM file that may be useful, I thought it'd be useful in the interim to provide those scanned documents (found in the post above).

I'll try to keep you posted if I make any progress with a FM overhaul file!

In the coming days, I will start setting up controls for Kittyhawk.
Only first I will finish the weapons mod - it will recalculate the power for later patches.
Work on mods is moving slowly due to lack of time.
You need to go to work + household duties., besides, the eyes quickly get tired in front of a computer monitor.
Please wait a few days.

I don't suppose there is any hope for a 4.09 compatible version of this?
