Hello all,
I have installed the A-10 and it´s absolutely lovely, but I´ve been having issues with the mod.

The plane has no engine sounds and it just freezes in the air whenever I try to fire the gatling (wich I believe its not a problem with the mod but with the instalation of it)

If anyone can help me to resolve this, it would be very much appreciated as this bird deserves to be flown

Hello guys, i'm having a bit of trouble here ^^'
I'm using BAT up to EP12, i downloaded the BAT core files and expansion packs up to 11 with torrents and installed the checkpoints at Expansion nine

The plane loads in QMB but the engines are off, and i can't start them... And not only that, when i try to start the mission with a take-off, landing gear breaks....
It's not the only plane that does that, He-280 also does that to me...

Anyone have an idea ?

EDIT: I saw you need the F-16... And when i try to pick the F-16, plane does not load and map glitches out...

sounds like loadout problems...

did you really check that you have all the packs needed to run the F16? loadout packs and all that?

Well... I installed BAT over a fresh install of IL2 thinking it would also provide loadouts etc...

Some planes are missing too ^^'

EDIT: I installed the F-16 Pack on my JTW folder, F-16 still doesn't work... But A-10 does ! I don't know what's going on Oo

From your somewhat dubious description I really think it's about loadouts. If you have a working BAT, delete the add on F-16 again, you don't need that.
I'd try these mods (the usual packs advised in 1st post for the new jets):

Be cautious!
BAT #JTW2 already contains an Engine Mod folder which needs to be deactivated/moved outside when installing a newer Engine MOD

I noticed that the A-10 has the same problem as the F-105 they used to write.
Namely, you can not land on the flaps fully released.

I'd have to report the same issue too.

When full flaps and/or gear is deployed, the aircraft pitches over onto it's right wing in an irrecoverable dive and crashes.

Funnily enough, with all difficulty settings turned off (with regards to flight model modifiers) it doesn't have this problem, but on any sort of "real" settings, it has this rather annoying handling bug

Guys, i ve tested the A-10 Landing behaviour, but i don't find any bug.

In configuration with 1xECMpod+2xaim9 with 20% fuel i can open flaps also at 440km/h without problems, touch the grund at 230km/h.

Pls tell me if you are running it into BAT, and explain me fly conditions where you find bug, speed & loadouts.

At the moment i cannot modify it, it seems ok in my game.

The problem is the same as for the F 105, if I produce a RedArmor or RedNone mission for example there is no problem for the full flaps
landing. On the other hand, for a RedScramble mission it is no longer the same plane and it is impossible to land cleanly full flaps.
The same in the FMB if i take off in the mission it's impossible to land full flaps.
