Try changing the texture in the " Wood 0 " through " Wood 3 " section. You might find one that wont show the tile effect so much. Also, I have found it helps smetimes to add a ,-2 or ,2 to change the size of the texture to help as well.

Perhaps redundant to say but Wood2 texture needs to be edited so that forest in foreground blends well with the green colour at far distance.
In last screenshot the separation of both colours are very visible.

Looks promissing though.  :)

Yes, you're right. Any better now?

Since kwm_Spit973 himself showed interest in this little reshuffling of textures, I feel excused to show some more pics ;) It's all a tribute to his work.

Many textures are by Cyberolas from his awsome Smolensk RRR map.

Lagarto, I think what Uuff is suggesting is that you colour-correct your distant wood texture to be more blue and less yellow.

Hello (google)

It is possible to test with the forests I placed?

The textures were less straight and more rounded.

Lagarto, I think what Uuff is suggesting is that you colour-correct your distant wood texture to be more blue and less yellow.

What I meant is the visible difference in colour at far distance. It happens when colours of textures of forest in [WOOD] section does not match with texture of Wood2 in [FIELDS] section in load.ini.
Wood2 is responsible for texture colour of far distance forest.

Perhaps you will not notice it so much in a screenshot but when flying over the map you see this line moving right in front of you.  ;)

@Lagarto,
From what I can see in new screenshots it looks better now.

... with Lagarto, Bombsaway and Uufflakke around, and Spit97 approval, I am sure this already very good map will soon become excellent ...!   :P

 Cocorico,
As all frenchies around, I'm very interested in this map, hopping to fly the last St Exupery's mission with his P38...
But I need a link to some 4.12 objects I lack in my DBW install...
Would be very happy if someone could send me and for the other DBW users, a link for the following objects  :

buildings.Plate$GroundRunwayLong
buildings.Plate$GroundTaxiLong
buildings.Plate$GroundParkingLarge
buildings.Plate$Pac_GrTaxiLong
buildings.Plate$GroundHardstandLarge
buildings.Plate$Pac_GrRunwayLong
buildings.Plate$Pac_GrParkingLarge
buildings.House$SEchurch10

Thanks and good flight... :P :P :P
