I've been trying to add this wonderful mod to the Hurricane's and no joy. For example , I named the folder HurricaneMkIIa , which matches the air.ini entry , and it will not take. Could you please advise the correct format for folder naming.

Your going about it all wrong Ribs,you have to go into HurricaneMkIIa mod folder then the 3do folder then the plane folder rename your folders whatever the planes folder is named,in this case the folders should be named   HurricaneMkIIa(GB)     and    HurricaneMkIIa(Multi1)

Something is definitely strange here, it doesn't seem to want to work in RC4.
I cannot add these pilots to any RAF planes. The only ones that work are the ones in the mod when downloaded. Which in and of itself isnt bad, but its not like the Luftwaffe models that you can add to near any aircraft you desire.
For instance the path for the Tempest (all tempests actually) is:
C:\IL2 '46 UP3RC4\Mods\3d_Wolfighters RAF Pilots V1\3DO\plane\TempestMkV(GB)
Obviously Im running in classic mod game mode here. This works just fine and all my Tempests have the new pilot model.
But if I try to add the pilot to the HurricaneMkIIc by emeulating the above path like so:
C:\IL2 '46 UP3RC4\Mods\3d_Wolfighters RAF Pilots V1\3DO\plane\HurricaneMkIIc(GB)
I get nothin. Zip, zero, zilch.

What am I doing wrong here? The above post makes it sound like a different path is required to add these pilots to planes from what comes in the mod.

I appreciate you responding , but there is no HurricaneMkIIa(GB) nor ----(Multi1)  folder within the parent mod. I'm trying to create a folder for these 'canes and also other UK planes to utilize this pilot.

I'm following the same method as CWMV in his post , also RC4/DBW 1.5

Thanks to all that help to the user of this mod, there are not included early british planes in this because its planed add a new pilot model model using early flight gear

Thank you very much for this excellent mod. If I could just ask how it would be possible for RAF pilots to always have masks on no matter what the altitude as in real life. Is there a file to remove?This seems to be the case for Typhoon pilots in game but no others.

Wolf, one question: can you make them with more polygons? Or maybe if you have some version with more polygons, just to see how it is looking? I know that real work is to make them with the less number of polygons, but as a visual freak, I would love to see how would they look with more polies
