I see however be aware that you are using a mod adapted to 4.13.4 in a 4.12.2 so you would expect problems as the classifies are different. It is already a miracle that you can fly.

Why don't you try the "jetera 1.5" for 4.12 that is basically just an F-86 and MiG15/17 pack
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,55619.msg784982/topicseen.html#msg784982

If this pack is to cumbersome you can try if the smaller original pack from PeterD here
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,3445.0.html that is also MiG and F-86 with Fred cockpits. It is for 4.09 but it maybe possible that it will fly in 4.12 as the bigger jetera 1.5 and the pack for 4.13 are all derived from this pack

Thanks, this seems to be working fine

There is only one problem

I want to replace the stock cockpit with the 4.13 version's cockpit, however when I transfer the files and launch the flight I only see a blue background and upon pressing F2 to see the exterior of my plane it is flying but I cannot control it or sit in the cockpit

Why is this?

I also tried replacing the 4.13 version's classfiles with the 4.12 version classfiles

All loads except for the interior view

Is there one problematic classfile which can be removed?

Normally cockpit needs corresponding classes to work you should check if the structure and the names of the cockpits in  the two folders are similar or you can try to see if the classes of the cockpit you want will work

Here are the classfiles for 4.13 (the one with the cockpit I want):

And for the 4.12 version (with the cockpit I want replacing):

Hey Tokyo, after fiddling around with the different MiG-15/17 Packs that I could find I managed to put together a pack that gets all the 3d improvements and fly very well in 4.09 however when I tested in VPM I could fly only the MiG-17 as the two MiG-15 crash to desktop at mission start  :(. At that point out of curiosity i tried the pack for 4.13.4 and it works very well so I realized that you must have just a small problem maybe missing a texture in the cockpit  or something similar. In fact I should have lead with this since the beginning please just post your log of the missing cockpit for this version
here the MiG-15 in action in VPM

Thanks for your work

I test flew the 4.13 MiG a few times last night and there was no fire problem, maybe this can serve as a fun 'mechanical error' mechanism to increase realism and tension, the chances must be low like 1 in 100 or something

When I can I'll send you the log for the 4.12 version glitch

I've always wanted a mechanical issue mod to fit all aircraft with adjustable parameters but that's going off topic

Thanks again
