FW-200C FM , help
« on: July 07, 2017, 03:31:04 AM »

Hi'
Is there a FM wizzard who can help with the Condor,   when engines are started it just keeps going round and round.   No rudder control at all,  like the left brake is stuck "on"  ::(
Thank you

I can not say there is a problem!
It is true that when starting the engines it tends to go to the right but it is easily compensated with the brakes and the rudder.
I managed to make it take off only with the keys ZX (rudder left/right - WX on French keyboard)!
For informations :
- 409 / UP2.01 with the last buttons
- starting sequence: motors 1-4-2-3

Thank you Epervier, I did try that, no luck,  i will try the latest buttons.   Is it importent with the engine start sequence ?? On the DC-6B we allways started eng 2 then 3 because of the hydpumps that operated the brakes

All buttons contain the same information for the Fw-200 (SAS / UV2 / UV3 / UV2special / UV3special ...)
Here is a startup sequence without using anything other than ignition engines!

I do not see what I can do better!  :-X

Not sure if this will help but I always start engines with chocks in, then I select left engines and start, select right engines and start. When there all running then use the select all engines to synchronize. Release chocks and takeoff

I believe Dave has it.

Did you re-select all of the engines before throttle up? If not, then the plane will only be powered by the last selected engine.

Nice catch Dave ;)

The new Halifax III has some of the same "trouble" ,  but can be tamed with course rudder !!

I do not think the chocks work for ALL planes!  :-|
For example, the chocks do not work on the Fw-200 (in my game) !
