I am working away from home at the moment - Give me a few days - I will post a link to a download for the 3do and maps sfs files or you can just copy the 3do from 4.13 root folder

Yes it works ! Actually, I got the wrong 3Do27.SFS file and now it's okay but I had to add the entries for the NGNB to make it work. Nevertheless, I cannot fly above New Guinea from DT in VPmodpack but it works with HSFX so.....
thanks....

For anyone having difficulty saving missions in VP Modpack, try placing Boomers up_objects files into the main VP Modpack root folder - these are;
up_objects01.sfs
up_objects02.sfs
up_objects03.sfs
up_objects04.sfs
Boomers packs - https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,16124.msg173463.html#msg173463
don't forget the .rc file entries to enable them as follows;
@sfs MOUNT up_objects01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT up_objects02.sfs
@sfs MOUNT up_objects03.sfs
@sfs MOUNT up_objects04.sfs

Also you may need to copy the NGNB static entries into the VP Modpack static.ini
You can find them here,
https://www.mediafire.com/file/po1whc4ymjzdoyj/NGNB_Static_Ini_entries.7z
just copy and paste them last into the static.ini file.

Finally check that you have the correct all.ini entries

With this you should be able to save and fly missions in VP Modpack for Eastern Java map and NGNB maps. Enjoy!

Also you may need to copy the NGNB static entries into the VP Modpack static.ini
You can find them here,
https://www.mediafire.com/file/po1whc4ymjzdoyj/NGNB_Static__Ini_entries.7z
just copy and paste them last into the static.ini file.
With this you should be able to save and fly missions in VP Modpack for Eastern Java map and NGNB maps. Enjoy!
Thanks, this did it for me.  I finally have the NBNG maps working and saving in vpModpack!!  ;D

To the best of my knowedge there was no Samarinda I. Nor was there a Singkawang I, Singkawang II being a secret aerodrome (roughly) south of Kuching in Dutch Borneo. Palembang I was the civil aerodrome at Palembang with Palembang II being yet another secret aerodrome.
The Balikpapan missions weren't the only ones flown from Samarinda II. Earlier the Japanese invasion force for Tarakan had been attacked; the Japanese invasion force for Miri was attacked from both Singkawang II and Samarinda II and possibly also the Kuching invasion force, but I'd have to check this last point to be certain.

Samarinda II actually consisted of two airstrips in separate natural jungle clearings, named Asa and Melak. The Japanese made very little use of Samarinda II as it was remotely located making it difficult to supply and of no practical use to them.

Re a West Java map, back in the All Aircraft Arcade days one of the board members, Big_Yamato, started work on a West Java map which included south Sumatra up to Palembang. He kindly sent me a pre-alpha copy which looked very promising indeed but unfortunately it was never completed.

Thank you for this map Squashman! I've been looking for something to simulate part of the CIA's Operation Haik. I also love that you made the railroad lines and roads curve realistically. I hadn't realized until this map just how much that adds to the quality of the map.

On a separate note, what is the scale of this map? I enjoy navigating by dead reckoning but need to know the scale to determine distances.

Hi, and thanks - glad you like the map. The roads and rail lines were made thanks to Zoran who gave me tips and guidance on building them.
The scale is approximately 1 to 1, which corresponds to about 50 metres per pixel, so geography is very similar scale to the real world and distances are realistic to fly in real time.
