I just downloaded the mod and in the redme it says:

This plane is recommeneded to be used with the SAS Hurricane Opening Canopy Mod (which you will need to see the Hurricane Cockpits opening from the inside) & also the SAS Hurrican POV Mod.

Neither link works for me. is there another mod to open the canopy on the default Hurricane?

There is a POV mod for all aircraft in the jsgme folder, you need to activate that.
For opening canopies of Hurricanes the topic nr.155 still works, only the domain has changed:

Thank you. Actually, of course, I have now discovered that the two-blader with opening canopy is already in VP Modpack which you helped me with last week. Thanks for not labouring the point
