I'd like to have all these settings set to "idle" before I start the engine in order to have a more "manual" feeling! Is it possible?

Yes ! It is very simple !
It is enough to rewrite all the codes of each plane ...
If you are an unconditional follower of realism at startup then I can only advise you to test the IES pack

Thank you! What does this modpack add to the game? It basically add battery start, primers etc? It's fully compatible with BAT? Last question...are there other mods like that which improve game realism?

IES is designed around a completely rewritten 409 kernel!
