I have been replacing my wide_background.tga's with sepia blueprints from the interweb in my single mission folders - all are ok except my IT folder wide_background.tga and .mat appear in the mission list as missions??
I have used the .mat file from another country (GB) but I understand this is ok? So i'm unsure why the files are in the mission list??
Any clues? All other countries are fine?

NB, I note there are IT and RA single mission folders - are these both for Italian missions? ie, Regia Aeronautica?

The files will be listed when there are no folders containing missions or campaigns. Put some missions or campaigns there, or create a random folder under IT, and the files will no longer be displayed. Not sure this can be categorized as a stock game bug... certainly not as a feature

To answer your second question, check (ie for WAW) the #WAW3\STD\i18n\country.properties

IT: R.A. - Regia Aeronautica
RA: RAAF

IL would be Italy (ICAF) Allied, but you must first create the "IL" folder for the game to list it (the same is true for the rest of in-game missing countries).

Cheers whistler i will check laters, my IT folder does have missions in it but all seperate so i will create a folder as you suggest. Amazing what you come across.
