Thanks to Epervier, you 409 rebels can now fly the early versions of the Buffalo!
When the B239s were first delivered to Finland during the Winter War, they arrived without any military equipment fitted. They were quickly fitted with a single .30 caliber machine gun in the cowling, a .50 caliber in the other side of the cowling, and .50 caliber guns in the wings. They were not deployed in time to see action during the Winter War, but if they had, they would have done so with this unusual mix and match set of weapons.
The Dutch and British Buffalos (B339/Buffalo Mk1) carried a mix of weapons through their career. As originally provided in IL-2, these aircraft carried a quartet of .50 caliber guns, but were provided with too much ammunition for the cowling guns. This mod corrects this and provides both the original quad-.50 load with correct ammunition, and the earlier load with .50 caliber wing guns and .30 caliber nose guns.
