Goodmorning everyone,
I reinstalled version 4.09m with the skin. Now I want to install the mod UP 2.01. Do not remember if I can install it directly on the 4.09m folder or do I have to install the JSGME utility before that? Help me with a sequence. Thank you.

You made the best choice!
409 + UP 2.01 is the best pack in the universe!

If you have the original UP2.01 (with 9 datax.cab) you have only one thing to do: run the "setup.exe"!
Give the path of your IL-2 409 to the installer !
The JSGME is included in the installation.

Note:
- Do not install IL-2 in C: \ Program Files
- if you do not want to use HSFX3 included with UP2.01: you can delete the "HSFX" folder. Only this folder.
- Once the installation is finished and tested, I advise you to make a backup of the whole game.
- this backup can be installed as many times as you wish in other disks and / or under different names.

Great! I know your great knowledge for version 4.09. My goal is to fly offline with good fluidity and with accurate flight models. So thanks for all the information and changes you make. I've also tried later versions but I do not have enough knowledge and computers of the latest models to appreciate the improvements. So I will continue to use the 4.09m.
