This screenshot actually shows two problems with this strange type:



1. The default skin, shown in the menu display, is either very "arty," or the wrong skin for this aircraft.

2. Note that the skin selected is from a set of three very nice skins created by vp. I downloaded and installed this set; although the individual folder names do appear in the skin selection box, none of the three skins appears on the aircraft.

A somewhat obscure type, to be sure, but the problem is nonetheless annoying. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there remedies for  these problems?

Thanks, Gaston, but vp's FFR-41 skins don't appear to be Hi-Rez. In any event, I've never had trouble with Hi-Rez skins.

I do seem to recall having trouble some time ago, in CUP, with properly installed skins, in properly named folders, not appearing as assigned. (Caudron 714?) I also seem to recall that someone - truth to tell, I don't remember whom - providing access to a file that corrected the problem. I think. LOL.

The japan design U see as the default, is summer skin1o.tga 1025kb, obsolete: an older mapping I guess...
What you do not see is skin1o.tgb 16,385kb, the default proper skin.
AND It should have been made 4000kb ( 1024 x1024 ) to view any 1024 size skins.
( vp made 12000, 3000 and 1024 versions of his skins; the later small size is from M4T ).

It still is a HD mod: I spotted two 4096 x 4096 tga's of 49,153kb each in size

The default skin was changed, and all three of the vp skins work now. Once more, with thanks and appreciation....
