He inspired a few map projects that never got released to all member.
He was mainly a tester for them.
An Alaskan map from memory due to I am sure his service in the in the USAF was an invaluable resource.
For some reason Mexico came up in one of our discussions and forwarded a map of Mexico to him.
They never did see full releases just maps between friends.

This community was a big refuge for me while dealing with some things several years ago, and Guy was one of the ones that I loved talking with. He had a kind heart, and was endlessly supportive.

This is a sad day. 

I wish to have spoken once more with him and say thanks.

I bought him some simulator stuff to keep flying... He was such a great guy . I really connected to him. His honest heartfelt friendship will be deeply missed. I am sure there are a lot of people in deeper sorrow than me, for those I offer my condolance.
I get to know him in 2010 myself, for me he was a big part of SAS.
And Mike, he got the support he needed back then. We walked him through that mess as good as it was possible using the interweb. This place is the first andonly place I ever manage to feel real friendship via internet, not just showoff , and he was one of the engines making that possible
