Even though I have been away from the forum lately and haven't spoken too much, the news hit me hard. Truly a great man. My most sincere condolences to his family and friends. :(

Really sorry to see this pop up.

Flew a couple of really good sorties with him a few years back when I was flying, he was a great guy to fly wingman for.

The mark of a good man is found in the reaction of the many who miss him when he is no longer here.
My condolences to family and friends.

Another long-time lurker checking in to mark the hole in our community. He was an unerringly positive presence here, played a large part in making this such a pleasant corner of the internet, and he is missed. My heart goes out to all those grieving, rest easy now BFT.

Bravo was a great guy, spent many a night shooting the breeze about our time spent in the military............  he always had me laughing and feeling good afterwards...........  he was 60 as I am, it makes you think of your mortality in this life and how short it can be for some.

Fair Winds and Following Seas

This one's for you Bravo...

"Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds -
and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of -
wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence.
Hovering there I've chased the shouting wind along
and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

"Up, up the long delirious burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace,
where never lark, or even eagle, flew;
and, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
the high untrespassed sanctity of space,
put out my hand and touched the face of God."

When I was a fairly new member at SAS, Bravo answered one of my newbie technical questions kindly.  It was the sort of reply that made one feel welcome and encouraged.  I am sorry to hear he has passed away.  My condolences to all who knew him.
