Hi mates !

I have still problem with static.ini
I would like to select and remove duplicate entries in static.ini
I have a list from StaticChecker but I dont know how to select duplicate and remove it.
The single search and remove of many thousent entries is almost impossible.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi everybody !

Uff , I have done ! Problem solved.
I have wrote with my colleaque special program to eliminate double entries in static.ini
Does work automatically and very fast. I have tested.
If someone have problem with  a static.ini - please let me know, I will send you the program.
 Of course - use it at your peril. ( Copy !!!)

The tool (universal_static.ini_checker_v1.3) is able to point out the duplicates.

Doubled objects in your static.ini:

Double object (174) => (1022): buildings.House$FurnitureSandbag_Wall2
Double object (175) => (1023): buildings.House$FurnitureSandbags_Round2
Double object (3352) => (4245): buildings.House$horse
Double object (4112) => (4205): buildings.House$FFI

Then just search for the name of the object in your static.ini : example "buildings.House$FFI"

Yes , you are right.. but :
The staticChecker is very good to find and delete a few entries.
If I have from many maps and mods about 5000 objects and 20- 30% double - I had  a problem.

With my program I can wash the static.ini automatically in few second.

The computer is faster.

darky1958 - I have the same problem as you - I am trying to clean up static.ini from a large number of duplicates. Can you ask for a tool?

I am also interested in your program, even if I knew about the checker feature od finding duplicates.
And why not to release your program here? Perhaps it may be tested better, and, possibly, improved even more.
