Is the template your own work Gerd as I can't see any credits on it? Beautiful plane mate, just got round to trying it. As for the canopy crank Gerax, just open the canopy ( ctrl+c as usual) and watch lower right inside cockpit-I love that little addition

Why did you use the Fw 190 A8 cockpit which use a BMW 801 radial engine for a Fw 190 D series which use a DB 603 inline engine !!! that is for me simply a pure heresy !!!

There is in game two cockpits for the D9 "Early" and "Late" why didn't you use the "Early" one ? Why ??

Other thing concerning the canopy crank, the wheel don't turn, it remains fix on all models of Fw 190...

Absolutely, the holes which you can see around of the wheel are there to block the handle in a certain position, to open and close completely the canopy the pilot had to pull the handle inward of the cockpit to loosen the spur of blocking and maneuver it during seven tours before loosening it to block it in position.

Dear Claymore, I am not sure to understand what you mean. Is it: in real world, wheel is not supposed to turn (at all) on Fw190s ?? or: It turns, but not 360 degrees??

This MODS is developed according to information that the nose part(including the engine) and the Keel of Ta152C are combined with the airframe of Fw190A and Fw190-D15 was developed.
Therefore,This MODS used Fw190A8's cockpit.

Yes, I agree the fact that the D-15 was developped with a A fuselage fitted with a Ta 152 Keel and a Db 603 engine but, with this kind of engine you cannot have the "Luftschraubenstellungsanzeiger" which is a particular gauge for the BMW 801 radial engine "Kommandogerät".

About the video be very carefull, that is not a Focke Wulf 190 but a Flug Werk 190 A8n (n for Neuerbau) this plane is a very similar reconstruction but not exactly identical.

Actualy,Dora's (and Ta's) with Daimler Benz have Luftschraubenstellungsanzeiger ...only Jumo versions don't have one.

Sorry Sani but I asked to Daniel to look in his huge documentation on the D series and what the plane is equipped with a DB603 or with a Jumo 213 it does not have there "Luftschraubenstellungsanzeiger", even in the description of the procedures of start up it is never mentioned a regulation of automatic or manual step of helix, thus not of "Luftschraubenstellungsanzeiger"

@Gerd, as I'm actually working on the A8 Cockpit and as the next series concerned by my work is the D9 (11, 13 etc...) would you let me make this D-15 cockpit for you ?

Nur bei DB603 means that it was installed only with DB's.And since that was the case with Fw152's,then it would be the case with Fw190's.
