Correct. They all use the P-47D-10 FM until we can get another one up.

Okai, thank for the answer.
If I remember, the first P47 B haved their tailplane most fragile and several planes were lost in dive: the mobile part of the rudder and elevator control was bursted by the speed. After that accident, the last p47 B and the C version recieved a métalic tailplane. (really sorry for my bad english, choose spanish in high school ::))

I read different things. P-47A was dropped before it reached flying status. This plane was supposed to have 3-blade prop and 4 0.50s. Prototype P-47 was XP-47B. The canopy was different, but not door-like. Please give me some info, because I was not able to find a pic or a drawing in the net of a P-47A the way you say it was.

I think so, The first p47 is the XP47B but seems to me he haved a cockpitdoor. I have some profil who confirm that but infortunatly don't have scan for post it. Only the series plane receive a standart canopy.

nostromoisdead: if you read back a little ways in the post, you'll see that I mentioned that I could only find TEXT discriptions on this plane. No pictures. I had to go off the discription they gave.

I didnt see anything on this version having 4 .50s.
