Aircraft of early WW2 period
« on: October 08, 2017, 02:37:15 PM »

Hi, I've got a question or idea in better case. There are a lof aircrafts in TGA mode that should by usefull in early WW2 scenarios in WAW mode. Is there any chance to transfer this aircrafts (mainly SCW machines) to the WAW?

actually, you have to think differently here.
SCW is TGA territory, kept out of WAW for a reason.

The size of the plane set is affecting performance, that is why it is separated  and will stay that way. There already is a great overlap and it might even grow more into TGA if anything, because WAW is already full to the brim.

Question to vampire_pilot and/or other BAT developers:
if WAW is too full to add anything new, does it makes sense to move out some aircraft more fitting to other eras?
For example:
F8F Racer, GeeBee, P-51 Racer, R-3, Ki-2, SM.62, M.33.
Probably: TB-1, Junkers F.13
Above is what comes to mind quickly, there might be others.

I am not a developer, merely a user and tester.
Others do the hard work here.

But WAW is not "too full". It is heavily loaded, but not too full.
But in general, you can -a s it has been stated before - tailor your air.ini, cut out stuff you don't need/like, create alternative shorter air.inis, to reduce load and increase performance. Like it had been done for the BoE experience.

There can always be a debate about this or that a/c belonging here or there or everywhere of course.

Thanks for reminder about this method.
And hopefully WAW still has some room to fill in - for different tastes.
