Thank you vampire _pilot. Seeing your Hunter skins always takes me back to that 50's movie "High Flight" starring Ray Milland and others. Also the Biggin Hill Air Show of 1961 and watching the awe inspiring sight of 111 Squadron looping 21 Hunters in formation is their distinctive "Black Arrows" gloss black paint. I was 14 at the time! ;D

Thank you vampire_pilot! Great job over the entire Hunter series. They certainly grabbed the headlines in their day and were a great favourite of plastic kit manufacturers!

Thanks ! That Black Arrows one reminds me of a very old Airfix model kit I made in the '70s...

You too eh, Gaston? Moulded in black plastic too. FROG also produced a Hunter but released well before the Airfix one as I recall :)

But what about the old Lindberg kit in off-white with Swiss and Peruvian markings?
