I've just noticed that missions saved with this map do not produce a .mis file but only a properties file

Pretty sure it won't generate a mission file if you can't save the mission.

It's in the evening here and I'm watching a football final, if this isn't sorted overnight I'll delete the flag from the actors file and give you the updated one tomorrow.
You can add the Australian flag manually to your mission, in fact you can add 20 of them!

I think deleting the flag from the actors.static is the only solution now

I have VP pack and the map works well since the first install I just had to add the palm trees and the airfield taxy plate from NGNB map no need to add the australian flag that is why I wanted to check your mission file.

Same here, my first install was VP Modpack and these maps installed and worked without any problems.

I play tested jacksonsghost's Line in the Sand 2 - VMF 223 USMC mission recently in Stock, VP Modpack and B.A.T.
What a difference a good map makes.

More to this I just checked my static.ini in VPmod pack and I don't have the (in)famous [buildings.House$FlagAUS] among my objects I also used the actorsTool to check the map objects and couldn't find any reference to House$FlagAUS

I find that your solution to remove the flag from actors static will be the best solution

- Edit - does house without collision in the logfile affect the map load?

No there is a good number of objects without collision even in the stock game it is a non critical error and the main consequences are that you can't destroy or collide with this object

FlagAUS is a red herring, gunny0134 gave this as an example.

The only flags in the actors are FlagJarmy, FlagJnavy and FlagUS.

Did you add Extra 3do for HSFX?  Because you shouldn't of.

Perhaps a new install following this.

Add 3do folder which are missing Green Hell objects DON'T add Extra 3do for HSFX.
Add Boomer's objects if you don't have these already.
Add NGNB objects.

Tokyo express you simply have a wrong install of the Australian flag object.

If you want a confirmation of this try to use the Aug-1942 version instead of the Dec-1942 and you will see that everything will work.

Please follow instructions you just need to delete from your static.ini all the entries concerning the invisible flag object. Open your static.ini with notepad use find for buildings.House$FlagAUS delete all the entries that you will find and then add the lines from post #191 then just extract the attachment in the folder #SAS rename it 00_Objects so you are sure it will load before anything else and then you will be able to open the Dec-1942 version and save missions on it.

Until you are missing even one single object the map will open in FMB but you will be unable to create or modify any mission. You will however be able to play a pre-existing mission (designed by somebody else).

Please also note that members may have other priorities and don't do things on command but out of their goodwill
