I tried what I suggested

Nothing has changed

The map loads and planes can be placed but as soon as I hit 'play' the dropdown menu disappears and I'm left with the map



Here is the bug report/log which I could bring up on screen

Static.ini checker: All map objects found in your static.ini, no doubled entries, and no irregular entries

Pulling my hair out over this

Upon opening the map, with no additions of your own, hit SHF-TAB to see what the console is reporting. Try in both the 2D and 3D modes.

The errors in your screenshot involve the handling of destroyed objects.

It seems that you are just missing the 3do of one object. Just extract the content of the zip file inside your objects 3do folder. It is actually in my previous download but just at the wrong level (inside the folder Extra 3do for HSFX) in any case I am attaching again. The path should be:
#SAS\Objects (or whatever you want to name it)\3do\buildings\flags\invisible\

You are unable to play because if you are missing an object you can't save the mission file you are creating in FMB. Saving is a precondition for playing. I think that you are still making some error in this last object install.

could you please attach your log.lst file?

It is the first time that I realize that this object exist so I am now checking the actor.static to try to understand where and why is used

My opinion :

Perhaps it was difficult to extract 'FlagAUS' object only in BAT mod etc.

In general, the users use the 'Stand-in_for_missing_objects' utility when the objects are difficult to get.

Therefore, the flag object file for HSFX mod is actually just an application of the 'Stand-in_for_missing_objects' utility.

That's why the flag is invisible.

I recommend that you try the 'Stand-in_for_missing_objects' utility directly.

 1) Delete all contents(file & static.ini editing) related to the flag file for HSFX.
 2) Install 'Stand-in_for_missing_objects' utility into your mod folder.
 3) Put the following line in the static.ini

So I went to BAT and dumped the real Australian Flag object. Copy the object folder from the zip file into the #SAS folder and copy the content of the text file in your static.ini. please delete the previous entry (if any) and also delete the previous file this time it should work
