Oh..... good request.

DHC-4 (US Army:AC-1 / USAF:C-7) is one of important transport in Vietnam.

I think blueprints are needed for modder / modelers.
Here is quick collection from the-blueprints.com .

7zip archive of original 3x PNG.

The Caribou exists on SFX, if a modder with desire to take back the model 3dl. The archive SFX is complete with coordinates of the creator. https://www.mediafire.com/file/z55s37xftc4l5ts/dhc4_caribou_fae.rar

Some more detail from the Caribou Flight Manual.

US ARMY Caribou Taking Off from a remote Fire Support Base in Vietnam while the Artillery was engaged and firing at enemy targets, a 105mm round took the tail clean off this caribou. No Survivors.

Hi, MADMICK71.

Even I'm a modder with abilities of 3d modeling / classfile slot building, but I have too many current tasks and no more capacity adding Caribou project.
But I think I can support another modder to test and check the new model or animation codes, flight characteristics, suggest how to bugfix in java.
So, for that purpose, official flight manual is much useful to know historical flaps and gears animation , movement limitation , etc.
If it's OK for you, please share it with me (and some modders running for real working on Caribou in 1946).

Hi as requested,

Link to Caribou Flight manual:

No Rush, no pressure if a seasoned modder would like to take over this project they are welcome.

Mick.

Thanks, Mike.
I got it.

If the project will decide to build its native cockpit panel, the flightmanual is also useful to know what instrument is set where and which needle value is covered from to on it.
Not few mod projects give up building cockpits though ..... its harder than externals.

Hi,

The Franken S2 tracker cockpit the front part not the sonar/radar rear part could be utilised. After looking through the cockpit set up and configuration it is very similar to the caribou.
