I've been trying to play as some of the Luftwaffe squadrons but I am only getting mission after mission of both sides just flying about on the east and west sides of the map, never coming into contact with each other.

Is there a setting in DCG I should change that might get the opposing sides a little more intimate with each other?

TheOligopolist, that is a bit of a problem with a large map like this one.

"Action Radius" is the setting you are looking for. Can't remember what I use, but start with 200 km and increase as needed. However, some of the missions will always be without enemy contact. But, hey, that how it was in the real life, too  ;)

Thanks, Shakaali.
Looks like the real problem was I had "Air Starts" unchecked in DCG.
I don't know if that's how it is by default but it needs to be unchecked on a map of this size in order for the enemy to spawn close enough to mission waypoints. Getting plenty of action now. :)

I also took the liberty of making a couple of alternative campaign thumbnails if anyone wants to use them.

Yes, of course. That makes a huge difference.

Nice ones. Thank you!

CAUTION

Because of loadout changes this campaing may crash in B.A.T. V3.7 LE GRAND CIRQUE.

See https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,62097.msg684642.html#msg684642 for information. I will release a compatible version soon.

Links updated in the first post.

If you are in a middle of the campaign, you can also download the updated allpayloads.dcg and payloads.dcg: https://www.mediafire.com/file/uaa6dayc234saa2/payloads.rar/file

Just unpack the file over your copy of Battle Of France folder and overwrite.

Hi Shakaali, it's the spectre at the feast again ;D

I'm trying this again on DCG 3.49 as you mentioned in the other reply to me and am getting a ' " not a valid integer ' error. This is on BAT 4.2.1. This is using everything provided in the v2 download from M4T and I haven't made any edits. If you can help me to get it to work that would be ace! Thanks

Should not be happening. Log?

Shakaali,

As per this thread [https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=45996.0] this issue seems to be caused when two instances of dgen.exe are running. It should be noted that I am not opening two instances, this is something that happens seemingly randomly. There is nothing of note in the log, no error reports. If it happens again  I will PM you the offending log see if you can make anything of it.

EDIT: Tested fully working on BAT 4.2.1 and DCG 3.50. If campaign won't start, double check there aren't two instances of "dgen.exe" running in task manager. Thank you Shakaali for these brilliant and diverse campaigns! <3
