Gerax's fix in reply #10 works in the tests I have done. Thank you again Gerax for this and other support you have given me.

I am not familiar with what the directory structure should be, so I maintained the mod's original directories but changed the WAW structure in the download to TGA before loading them in JSGME:

Original:
#WAW_opelblitzfixlight\#WAW\STD\3do\Cars

Change:
#TGA_opelblitzfixlight\#TGA3\STD\3do\Cars

I don't necessarily recommend using this as a fix. I have personally suffered self-inflicted injury in the past when I tried to "fix" CUP or BAT. I would recommend that you wait for an official update/fix unless you really have a pressing need to use the Opel trucks in BAT TGA.

Since the Opel doesn't work anyway I dont think this fix should have any negative impact and if it should it's easy to remove it.  ;)
