Type Two 63 ft HSL- Cancelled
« on: May 02, 2018, 08:11:20 PM »

The Type Two HSL was a 63 feet (19 m) high speed launch craft made by British Power Boat Company (BPBC). The craft were used during the Second World War for air-sea rescue operations to save Allied aircrew from the sea. The Type Two superseded the 64 feet (20 m) high speed launch, and itself was replaced by the 68 feet (21 m) Type Three HSL also built by the BPBC. It was nicknamed the 'Whaleback' due to the distinctive curve to its deck and humped cabin.

Been workin on this for quite awhile now but still requires the pits and a few other items fixed up. Hopefully have this one done in time for some summer cruisin. :P

More to follow over.

Just the thing to incorporate in some ETO missions.

I see.

It’s a wonderful craft youve built nonetheless.

Wow, rememeber when seeing this ship for the first time on photos and Airfix (?) scale model I thought this is way too complicated to be made in Il-2... and now this WIP.  :o

The screenshots are stunning and brilliant!
Looking forward to have this maybe even driveable in the game ..  ;)

Thanks guys.

SAS~Gerax  this was the first model boat I ever built as a kid. Up till then it was all planes and tanks so being able to bring that kit to life in my fave flight sim is like a dream come true for me. Glad you like the screenies and although I forgot to mention this in the first post this will be pilotable in game.

SAS~Bombsaway The inspiration for me to even try doing this one was in fact your PT Boat project. So thanks for that.  ;)

I've never made a mission or even know how to use the FMB so any missions for this will be great to see Mission_bug  ;D
