hmmm......strange, don't you think?
i'm almost certain they are stock openable canopy planes, but need to check my stock install first, to confirm....

okay, checked - they do not have opening canopies in stock version.
i guess some trickery with classes is required, as they do open in DBW...
i need the wind in my hair, as i do my banzai on those pesky US carriers :D

still - odd that i do get the 'open/close' hud message, then.... ???.... it means there is at least some reference to the canopies opening somewhere, and that perhaps only the animation itself is missing..

Damn, I installed some new ATI drivers, my Stock game just hangs up when I click on QMB Button.
