More Texans in Africa - Updated
« on: July 07, 2018, 12:54:49 AM »

The T-6 flew on for many years after WW II in both training and combat roles.  Vampire Pilot's recent skin pack included an excellent collection of French aircraft flown in combat operations in North Africa as well as a Portuguese Shark Mouth and Katangan AT-6. Great work!   Last year, Edlor gave us a beautiful collection of French T-6s among others, a different Portuguese shark mouth and one Belgian aircraft all flew combat operations in Africa.
So this pack contains HD and 1024 skins for Spanish AT-6s as used in COIN operations in Spanish Morocco in the 50s (bare metal birds) and in the Spanish Sahara in the 70s (camo birds). While not as exotic as the Shark Mouth Portuguese Texans, I've included several more pedestrian bare metal examples as used in Africa throughout the 60s and into the 70s.  I've also included a FAP AT-6 in "anti-radiation green", a paint developed by the Portuguese and applied to overseas combat aircraft, including AT-6s, in the early 70s to counter the shoulder mounted SAM/man pad threat.  Finally, I've added a couple of additional Belgian AT-6s, that flew combat operations in the Belgian Congo in the late 50s and 60s. They operated primarily out of Kamina air base.  The colorful H-19 was the CO's aircraft as of 1959.  Hope you enjoy them.

Original 1024 skins in the download were PSD files.  Updated post 1 with new 1024 file as BMP skins.  Sorry for the screw up.
