Nice to see a skin section back up here :)

Fw190D-9 W.Nr.500698 'Brown 18' 7./Jg26

One of the last Doras Produced by Mimetall Erfurt before they undertook Ta152 production
this aircrat was surrendered to RAF personnel on May 5th 1945 at Schleswig-Land.
Wearing full Jg26 markings including the aircrafts number on the gear doors a common feature in 7 staffel
this is painted in typical late 500XXX camouflage apart from the B4 style underwing Balkenkreuze
which was used on Mimetall built Ta152s, its possible that the 152 stencil was used to mark this aircraft.

Includes Blank and Bonus 'Black 4' Jg 26 skin

If I could only skin as good as Phas3e... fantastic Dora skin, nice colors! Also, thanks for the detailed historic background - it's nice when you know the history behind the plane. :)

If you want a personal scheme with a '3' just PM the details you want on it (colours, number colour, unit markings and such) :)

Next one done is

Will put them in a pack and do maybe half a dozen of them plus maybe update my older ones

Not Dortmanns no but another yellow tailed Dora.
Not sure if i will do his machine in its many schemes as Im sure Boelcke will be doing it for his Dora pack and dont want to double up too many skins.

Plus, Dortenmann's bird has been skinned many times before...although not with that template. You may want to consider doing one anyway...as Boelcke may wish to include your version in his Channel Front Campaign skin packs. I've got some pretty detailed references for all three of his Doras paint jobs (same plane, just re-painted a couple of times) from Jerry Crandall's book, if you want to take it on. If you know which scheme he's doing, you could take on one of the other two or do all three of them. Just a thought mate.

Cheers,

KC

Most of Jg301's Doras were 500XXX aircraft apart from the their very first ones which were 201xxx

They will look very similar to the above skins with RLM 81 over 76 and an 81 leading edge on the underside.
I will try and scan you up something from Japo's part 2 camouflage and markings book
