How do I install new planes?

How can install new plane in Il-1946? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am new

Download the SAS megapatch first at the top of the topic (1 - SAS IL-2 4.12.2m Mega Patch), scroll down to the botton, download and install stuff in that order:


2 - THE B.A.T. TORRENT FILE CONTAINS ALL 29 PARTS BAT01 TO BAT29:

3 - B.A.T. V3.0 CHECKPOINT CHARLIE

4 - B.A.T. V3.1 OPERATION SEALION



Afterwards, read the topic for some instruction, go back to the boards and you'll see some topics with further expansions.

same here. I have IL-2 1946 at V 4.13RCO4M. I have tried to download the D520, Re 2001, Re 2002 but I appear to be sending them to the wrong place. I can get them as far as my IL-2 1946 folder but that's it...HELP!

First I would say..  Update to 4.12.2 after that then get ModAct 5.3 then It is not that hard to install new planes.
After that if you wish to get the larger mod packs go for it..
Starting out take it SLOW.. It takes a little time learning..... ]wav[

I'm making a balls of this. First attempt to update failed. I am a computer chump so treat me like I cannot do much more than drool........I downloaded the 4.12.2. To where do I open it? What's the destination file?

FULL STOP...  What is the game version do you have?.... Should say in lower left hand corner when you start your game....
Then we can help you get the correct upgrade...

In the meantime, I managed to get 4.12.2M installed correctly (wrong destination). thanks again.
