Continuing the theme of "The Giants of Tupolev" - [Post edited]

ANT-20 "Maxim Gorky" and ANT-20bis (PS-124)

Tested: ANT-20 MG in 4122m + SAS Modact + SAS Engine mod 2.8.5 (or later)!

ANT-20bis in 412 and 413.





Attention! To install the ANT-20 "Maxim Gorky", the SAS Engine Mod 2.8.5 or later versions are required!

Also, new version of the ANT-16 must be installed from here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,39986.msg657593.html#msg657593

or classes must be added from it:  https://www.mediafire.com/file/lhkt6i13vdo8kzh/TB-4.zip/file

In version 1.1 made changes engines (M34FN) and some minor fixes.


To install the ANT-20bis - the same requirements, except for SAS Engin MOD (installation is not required), the ANT-20bis works in versions 412 and 413, for 410 is not designed - in version 410 work is not stable.

I want to remind you that both aircraft are frankenplanes, with all the associated bugs inherent in this type. The overall dimensions that do not reach the real dimensions are a consequence of certain limitations in 3D. There are still possible improvements. Improvements are also possible in FM.

As it happens, the EngineMod will be updated in TGA in the next BAT update and this aircraft will surely also be there :D

Glad you liked it.
It should be noted that the “Maxim Gorky” was not possible until western0221 made the SAS Engin Mod for eight engines updated.
And thanks to him for that.

actually, a small issue is rising:
I get a 20% CTD in BAT and the reason is a class missing it seems. I cannot find a "TB_4" class anywhere. It is not a stock class in 4.12 and I can't find it in any mod I have either

I had the same problem as Vampire Pilot but with the addition of the updated ANT-16 elements the ANT-20bis now runs just fine in my BAT-Linebacker - and how cool is the pencil rolling around at the navigator station! The attention to detail is amazing. Unfortunately I am getting the 20%CTD with the ANT-20MG so I msut be missing something else. log.lst below.
