Hello ansons, thank you very much for the info, really appreciated. 8)

I downloaded the program you mentioned and tinkered around with the sound file mentioned and it worked. :o

Not sure what I did exactly because I am no sound engineer but managed to do something, mine turns out at 1.44 MB but there
seems to be a brief silence with my file so maybe I need to try again as it might be too short so not running in sync with the other
sound files, thing is I am in the dark really even though I got something positive from my tinkering.

Please tell us what exactly you did ansons or post your altered file. ;)

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hi Mission_BUg, What I did with Audacity is just Cutting out 2/3 of the whole file duration. In Audacity, Use Shift + K to select the area from the cursor up to the file's end. Then Ctrl X to cut the selected area,
Then save the file ... that's it.

For some reason I ended up with a blank file using that method ansons, not sure where I went wrong, thanks for trying though. ;)

I just used the cursor to shorten the track and then exported, here is my altered file
for anyone experiencing the issue:

Edit: removed, now using the file ansons posted.

This did stop the freezing for me with both helicopters:

Nice to see that your problems have been solved, guys. :)
For me, all this is still a mystery, because in my version of the game everything works fine with the source files.
As a continuation, I added a some toggle switches to the weapon control panel.
Add the following lines to the end of the hier.him cockpit:
