Whenever I install this version I keep receiving an error that causes a crash as soon as I try to upload a him file:

Error loading "glass" file not found

BTW the installation path looks somewhat strange:
"C:\Users\EK\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Stainless\IL2 mod tools"

The non high def version worked fine

I run win 10 with a Nvidia GTX1050

Here's the details of the error I receive:
I checked in the path shown in this log and the Glass.xnb is there, size 6145Kb!

Looks like the glass shader is missing..... WTF.

New version up, the Visual studio publish command had missed the glass shader.

This version has proof of concept for the collision mesh generator. It's not working yet, but I have enough code in to show it SHOULD work.

From the treeview, right click on a mesh node and select "generate collision mesh"

You will get a new dialog pop up.




At the moment I only have one mesh decimation technique in though I am planning to add more.

Use the quality control to reduce the triangle count.



You can see the triangle count is massively reduced without totally screwing up the mesh.

I still have some issues to sort out.

  • What to do with multiple face groups
  • How to generate a collision mesh from the decimated mesh
  • Allow you to name the collision mesh and what conventions I need to adhere to

However for a few hours work I am happy it could work.

Yep. Same error still on.
In the directory in question, there is a Grass.xnb but indeed there is no Glass.xnb

Okay I have checked it and it works here, what may have happened is my website didn't publish properly.

I have just downloaded it and it worked, so sorry for the hassle, but please try to download again.

Okay so it works.

Load in your mesh and look for missing collision meshes.




Select the offending msh in the treeview, right click, select add collision mesh.

Use the dialog box to reduce the number of triangles, give it a name , and select OK




You can then right click the mesh and "dump as text" to a temporary file name, or just overwrite the existing one if you are brave.

Looks fine to me.
