--- i18n/MAPS.properties entry line "&" special character trouble ---

In i18n/MAPS.properties entry , the character "&" means a special function displaying an under-bar with the next alphabet on menu trees.
So, in using "&" character as meaning of the word "and", the displayed result of the menu doesn't show the first hope.

I've checked only a half amounts of maps composed in BAT v3.5 .
That's a great great map accumulation.

So, I added vonofterdingen's report in my 1st post with a Google map screenshot.
My recommend as a new i18n/MAPS.properties entry text is "Southeast Indonesia - BB".

I think ....
"Timor-Leste" is current country name from 2002y , so not so fit to map's name in 1942y.
Finally vampire_pilot's decision ..... in English, in showing Geography of Islands = Eastern Timor / in showing Territory name of 1942 = East Timor.
Temporary I wrote the recommend of i18n/MAPS.properties line:
Australia Darwin, East Timor, Ambon 1942 - farang65

I've looked into almost all maps in B.A.T. v3.5 .
No more bug name or category are found in my sight.

(Besides small taste difference around fictional maps or JetEra maps' categorizing treatment.)
