Whistler, thank you!
I have been using VM9 for just about everything, right on up until the implementation of triggers. I started having to turn off visual Mod because it would cause the triggers to CTD the game. I could never see the NG HUD while VM9 was running either. I guess I assumed that this NG CAM was a part of the other NG mods which had been included with BAT, and that it didn't do what Visual Mod was capable of doing. I'm so glad that I was wrong. When I read the banners for this thread I saw "BAT" and said "Wait a minute!" I just plopped it in, turned it on, and it did its thing. With all of my BAT goodies working.

I admit to feeling a bit like an idiot, but I'm so grateful for this mod. And it seems I can get the "Pilot Pal" to drop in also, so nothing is missing and I have extras. :)

Thanks Again!

Glad you find them useful :)

All four mods should work in any 4.12 / 4.13 Modact-based game. HUD/MAP are integrated in BAT. CAM/PAL aren't.

Thank you, whistler

I have a question.

Is it possible to move the numbers in the document to leave a little more "inertia" in the "inertia motion in the external view"?

For example, like "PAL-Visual MOD 8".

Next Generation CAM (NG-CAM) Mod v2.0
Head-tracking disabled in external views
I don't know about you but I just cannot control external views with my head. The mod will simply disable Head-tracking in external views. Use your mouse to control the camera.

Hello Whistler,

I do understand that you have trouble with the headtracking in the External View.
But for me it is just the opposite. I cannot get used to looking around with the mouse.
For some time i have now used the NG-Cam, but cannot get used to the disabled headtracking.

Just disabling with F9 does not activate the headtracking, so i had to disable NG-Cam completely.  :(
Is it possible for a future version, to get the option to enable/disable the headtracking, so we both can be happy while using NG-Cam?  :D

I really would like to use NG-Cam again, but not without the headtracking in External View.

Hi, Whistler!  ;D
I was going to PM you, but I thought that perhaps someone else may have the same question: Is it possible, for internal views, to use the mouse for the forward and back positioning like in the original VM9, using the L and R mouse buttons, instead of needing to assign a key? I ask because I currently do not have a head-tracking solution, (though a head tracker WILL come . . . one day  :( ). I play on a gaming laptop, and use a TV monitor. My left hand stays near the laptop's mouse pad, and a double-tap allowed me to move forward and back at will. Holding the right clicker on the pad with my index finger allowed me to move left and right. I know that this may not be possible, but I thought I would ask anyway. Mom always said "If you never ask, you'll never know.". :)
Thanks, Mate!

Does anyone have a mirror for this mod? I can't seem to access the Mission4Today website.

downforeveryoneorjustme.com mentions that the website is down. :(

Edit: Nevermind, website is now working for me as of 06.09.22 :3

Installed on 4.12.2 HSFX 7.03 with JGSME (placed the folder from C:\Downloads\IL-2 1946\NGCam\Select a version\Manual (MODS) in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL 2 Sturmovik 1946\jsgmemods folder), mostly for the FOV mod and it does not seem to work. My understanding is to hit the "Wide View" key (PgeDwn) and it goes to 90 FOV, then hit PgDwn again for each 5 degree increase. Mine goes to 90 but will not go higher. Am I doing something incorrectly or is there something in HSFX that locks out FOV mods?

Please take the game out of the C\program files folder and move it to any other location on your dis(s). That is a win protected folder that makes life difficult when you install mods and updates! Even if you uses admin priviliges you´ll have hickups. After you´ve moved out test if game works  as expected or if you need to refresh your installed mods (in JGSME)

Was the F9+Shift panning function disabled in 2.0?  I have tried 2.0 in UP and BAT (installed per the correct file) and the F9+Shift panning function no longer works.
When I put 1.6 back in the F9+Shift panning function was working again.  Did I miss something or was it removed?  I couldn't find any documentation on this thread (I might have overlooked it).
Thank you.

Edit: I am an idiot, panning is now done with the R Mouse click.  Thank you.

Beautiful mod, enjoyed all previous versions including the Hud mods.  These are great, so thank you very much.

Just one problem.  With the camera mod v2.0 enabled in the #SAS folder (v4.13), the bombardier view in level bombers no longer works.  When switching from the pilot's seat to the bombardier's seat, either by cycling views or using the bombardier shortcut key, the view immediately switches to a stationary aircraft external view and the aircraft is seen flying away.

Switching to gunner's view - again either cycling or direct - does not cause this, however.  Switching back to the pilot's seat is also a non-issue.

Activating the "kill switch" and disabling the mod in-game does not fix this bug.

Deactivating the CAM mod in the #SAS folder is the only thing that helps.

Thanks again for your work, just wanted to point this out and ask if there is a way around this.   :)

It also will be great help if you can also post log.ini.  Thaat way the problems can be narrowed down and we can see what is causing the problems more quickly.

Cheers
