E.E. Canberra B.(I)Mk.8
« on: November 22, 2018, 08:28:35 AM »

The B.(I)Mk.8 is the definitive interdictor version of the Canberra. The fighter style canopy cockpit greatly improved the usability as a ground attacker.

6 Sqn of RAF Laarbruch was a main user of the type.
Early night interdictor with black belly:

later day-grey belly

Indian Air Force B.Mk.(I)58, tropicalized.
early HSS

UNO mission in Congo 1960-64

5 Sqn "Tuskers", IAF 1971

South African Airforce

early HSS

late light blue

for incursion into foreign airspace, national insignia were often omitted

special "hack" addition:
B.MK8 as a PR.9  1 PRU, RAF, 1990s

enjoy :)
