Myślę, że autor tej mody Avengers znajdzie siłę, by wskazać, gdzie wziął skorygowany fm.  ;)

And you do? You probably have logged flying hours in the Avenger too...
Care to elaborate what's so wrong with the new FM?

I would like to know which sources on the FM you have and how an FM would fly like that you have created... Cobble one together and post it, I will gladly try it out and compare it against published values for the Avenger... And please do not refer to some super secret VVS flight tests performed at a secret Russian base ... That joke was good during the first round of FM discussions back when old IL-2 was in its heyday and every Russian forum member of the various SIM discussion boards turned into an expert for Western aircraft performance overnight....

Hello Vasya, To tell you the truth, I haven't done too many tests, in general the Avangers in our game are difficult to pilot, so I'm glad that we're discussing this topic, I also hope that something will come out of this discussion. Big thanks to the author of FM and to everyone who deals with this problem and contributes to the greater playability of our game.

P.s.  I forgot to add that your Polish is very good. 8)

Best regards,
Piotrek

You cheered me up even more.  :D
I am telling you that the author of the improved FM TBM has no education in aerodynamics at all.
Just a fashion author who used improved fm does not know about it. But he knows very well where she got it.

Powiem ci sekret - ulepszony program dla Avengera został napisany na moim komputerze tydzień temu.  ;)
I również przetestowane. Możesz to przeczytać na

I didn't know that, I have to admit that you are really good at what you do with FM planes 8).

Vasya, once more! Care to elaborate where you get your wisdoms from? And maybe you might also enlighten us how well versed and educated you are in aerodynamics and how great your experience is in the flying qualities of warbirds!
Have you ever talked to a real Avenger pilot?

I tell you the truth - I have no education in aerodynamics.
Therefore, I think the new corrected FM for TBM is not correct.
Although it does in the game, it reflects somewhat about the behavior of this deck bomber.
Did you like the corrected FM?

Well, as I am the one who is putting the Avenger FMs through their paces currently I have to say I like them wayore than the original ones...but I am still testing them, meaning comparing values to the figures I have for the Avenger, stall speeds, top speeds, overall flight characteristics etc...
I am lucky in that I was able to talk to an actual Avenger warbird pilot twice in the last few years, once in Duxford and once in Zeltweg and from what I have heard, the Avenger is a very docile, easy to handle plane...perfect for young pilots who CE fresh out of flight school... Compared to the Helldiver the Avenger was a real pilots plane...

I would be very glad if someone who is a connoisseur of aerodynamics wrote the right fm for this naval bomber.
And so it is: for 18 years in Il-2, no one has been able to correct the behavior of TBM.
I don't know how the TBM bomber flew in real life.
You can see the characteristics of this aircraft on Wikipedia.
With fm corrected in a virtual TBM aircraft, most features are similar to real ones, but of course, our game may not reflect all the nuances of real aircraft behavior.
So use the fm you like.
Thank you very much for replying to me!  :)
