A message of thanks...

As a mere user rather than contributor to this community I always berate myself. Because I have the aptitude and skills to be a modder if I chose to. But instead I have chosen to dedicate my spare time to other endeavours. So all I can do is express gratitude to the dedicated people who have raised IL-2 from its beginnings (Yes i bought a copy of the initial release in its sweet little box all those years ago) to what it is now in the form of BAT. There is nothing like it.  When BAT was originally released I did not have PC capable of running it at a decent frame rate , but now I have built a new PC it does run to my satisfaction, and I am deeply impressed. Thank You.

We try our best. But it's not possible without the modders so this shout goes dierctly to them.

I also took the same journey, back from initial game to BAT.

Stumbled over my Original Box with its gorgeous cover art only a couple weeks ago! It sat in my room for a year until my parents bought a new pc that would run it! Lol

Later I played Pacific Fighters or that PC, before buying 1946 some years later.

Right now I'm having trouble...As soon as the BAT FOV Mod gets enabled - click on QMB = CTD... i will post a log file if i cant solve it...this is just a comment not a request for help. I know the rules

I´d like to jump in on the gratitude, been "flying" this enviroment ever sice it was released here in Sweden! THanks to all teams who have brought this to the state it´s at now! I only wonder where they (you) will take us further? Downloadable 3d printing of our favourite AC somtimes in 2024?

I also have finally next to my "goodold" DBW a BAT install!
What surprised me first, was the crazy number of aircraft we have meanwhile, meine Fresse (Bugger me!)
